Any person who require Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin would have to apply to SOPA with the following documents with an application :
- Details of the quantum/Origin of the Inputs/Consumables used in the export products.
- Two copies of invoice
- Packing list in duplicate for the concerned invoice
- They also have to register an Indemnity Bond once only (Application Annexure II) with SOPA on Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper to which SOPA will give a registration number stating that the all the particular supplied by them to SOPA are True & Accurate.
As per the Hand Book Of Procedures 2002-2007 the fee for issuing the certificate should not exceed Rs. 100 per certificate. It is therefore suggested that we also issue Certificate of Origin duly completed by the exporter on preprinted form provided by SOPA on payment as follows :

The Certificate would be issued as per enclosure 4 as specified in the policy.
